Photographer Don Feenerty has a strong and growing reputation in the media arts world for his ability to communicate through his camera. Whether the assignment is business or personal project, Don's versatile talents, both in front of and behind the lens, lend themselves to creating an unforgettable adventure out of each photo opportunity.
In his twenty years behind the camera, Don Feenerty has achieved remarkable results in everything with which he has been involved. From his work as a travel photographer in locations such as England, Mexico and Bermuda to his expositions in People, Mid-Atlantic Quarterlyand Preservation magazines to billboards, image books, brochures and educational pamphlets, Don Feenerty's involvement in the panchromatic world extends to every facet of each design.
Born in Wheeling, WV, Don Feenerty began his study of photography at the age of eight. In addition to his commercial talent, he has an extensive background in leisure, travel and portrait imagery. He apprenticed under R. Jackson Kirk, Master Craftsman, and studied with Richard (Dick) Cress, CCP. In addition, he has held previous teaching positions with the Leadership Wheeling Youth Arts Program, the YWCA's Young Wheeling Chooses Art Program, 4-H Summer Camp and the Residential Environmental Education Program for Ohio County (WV) Schools.
